The goal of this project is to design and drop a skid similar to that of last semester's project and compare the results to a SolidWorks computational model. The intention is to develop an accurate finite element analysis computer model of the skid's structural integrity so that a subsequent physical tests will have higher success rates. In particular, points of high stress concentration are the main focus in order to determine whether the structure yields.application/pdfCopyright is held by the author who has granted the Oklahoma State University Library the non-exclusive right to share this material in its institutional repository.
