Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine if self-assessment of job skills for women provides incentives to help individuals identify skills and talents that can help them enter or reenter the labor market. A sample of Oklahoman women selected through a combination of cluster sampling and purposive sampling is used in this study. The results of the study are discussed in terms of the sociodemographic and employability characteristics of adult Oklahoma women.
